Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions provided herein establish the agreement between you and Epsom Ewell Minicabs. Your act of booking a taxi and utilizing our service signifies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.

1. Definitions

Epsom Ewell Minicabs, referred to as “we” or “us,” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 Time Allocation

You are required to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival. This applies to all airport transfers, where adherence to specific check-in times for your flight is crucial. Epsom Ewell Minicabs shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from your failure to allocate adequate time or for unpreparedness at the designated collection time.

2.2 Vehicle Suitability

It is your responsibility to request a car of an appropriate size for passengers and luggage. Epsom Ewell Minicabs does not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Wheelchair Access

Individuals requiring wheelchair access should communicate this requirement at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Quotation Basis

Our quotation is based on the information provided by you. Prices, unless explicitly stated otherwise, exclude VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Waiting Period & Parking

Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the specified landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting time beyond this period will be charged at the standard Epsom Ewell Minicabs waiting rate. While we strive to accommodate delays by reviewing flight details, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Confirmation

Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Epsom Ewell Minicabs of any inaccuracies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

3.4 Payment

Payments for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 Passenger Behavior

You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for vehicle cleaning if it is soiled, damaged, or negatively affected by a passenger.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.

4.3 Child Restraints

Children in the vehicle must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 Passenger Limit

We are not authorized to transport more passengers than specified by licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Timely Notification

For cancellations, prompt communication is essential. Failure to cancel a vehicle after dispatch incurs a charge based on the driver’s time and distance to the cancellation point.

5.2 Online Booking

Cancellation charges may apply for online bookings canceled before dispatch.

6. Liability

6.1 Delays

While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, Epsom Ewell Minicabs is not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control.

6.2 Luggage

Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 Breakdowns

In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative promptly.

6.4 Indemnification

You will not indemnify Epsom Ewell Minicabs for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

6.5 Exceptions

No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 Immediate Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or reject a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Subcontracting

Epsom Ewell Minicabs may subcontract obligations stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 Amendment

Terms and conditions may be altered by Epsom Ewell Minicabs at any time by updating this page. Existing bookings will be honored at rates applicable at the time of booking.

8.3 Data Protection

Information is handled according to the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 Full Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Epsom Ewell Minicabs and yourself.

8.5 Third-Party Rights

No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement without a written agreement.

9. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Epsom Ewell Minicabs is not obligated to entertain claims made after this timeframe.
